John McEvoy

Chairman

John serves as Chairman and Senior Advisor to Vorsprung Partners, a North American and European partnership focused on investing with entrepreneurial, family-owned businesses. He is also Managing Partner at Neponset Bay Capital LP, a privately-owned investment fund focused on portfolios of real assets and venture capital since 2017. From 2003-2016, John managed over $1.3 billion in corporate and asset-based investments in the transport and forestry sectors as one of the founding partners of Wayzata Investment Partners. Previously, he was London Group Head with Lehman Brothers Communications Fund with oversight of investments in telecommunications and internet infrastructure from 2000-2003. From 1994-2000, he was a Principal and Partner at Soros Fund Management, specializing in telecommunications, infrastructure and fund of funds. He is currently a board of director for the Boys and Girls Club of Boston and MIT Sloan's Sustainability and Climate Initiative.

Ralph Jaeger

Managing Partner

Ralph brings deep private equity and investment management expertise, having served as Managing Director at Siguler Guff and co-led PE/VC research at Cambridge Associates. He is the Founder of Hunter Real Estate and has held roles at JP Morgan Partners and Von Braun & Schreiber, with a strong focus on industrials, real assets, and complex capital structures.

Florian Lahnstein

Managing Partner

Florian is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vorsprung, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and U.S. expansion. He previously held senior leadership roles at Siguler Guff, RiverRock, UBS Investment Bank, Bear Stearns, and Merrill Lynch, advising on transactions exceeding EUR 40 billion. He brings over 25 years of experience in private markets, M&A, and capital raising for European SMEs.
